At Pilates Powerhouse we have a uniquely different approach.
Sessions here are extremely personalised, available in a private 1:1 or 1:2 duo format, using a range of specialised Pilates equipment. Each session you do at Pilates Powerhouse is tailored to how YOU feel each time you come in the door, conducted at your own pace with a program unique to your individual needs. I adapt and program your sessions on the spot – whether that be to accommodate any aches, pains or twinges you have, your energy level, mental outlook or your goals on the day. Teaching only 1-2 clients (as opposed to group classes) gives me the unique ability to prescribe the exercises that will make you feel the best you can at the end of each session. Whether you’ve have had a stressful day at work, feel tired and achy or ready to work out like a warrior, this approach gives the flexibility to accommodate it all.
Your workout incorporates exercises on the mat and with specialised Pilates equipment, designed to support your body and help you get the best out of every movement. Focus is on postural awareness, attention to detail and technique and the joy of unlocking tension and gaining freedom of movement throughout the body. You will experience a relaxed and fun atmosphere to enjoy exercise and body rehabilitation, inspiring rejuvenation and allowing you to make the most of your ‘you time’.
The beauty of Pilates, particularly in this format, is that it can be for the absolute beginner who has never exercised, gentle exercises and stretches to aid in rehabilitation all the way through to very advanced exercises and everything in between.
I recommend attending 1-3 sessions per week for consistency, continued progress and to achieve your desired outcomes. Casual sessions also available to work on your technique and get personalised feedback. You can then apply this new found knowledge about your body to your group fitness classes and other athletic pursuits.
